It's occurred to her, in her current position, that it was probably not in her best interest to try that same window again.

The first time it would have worked. She'd studied the house enough that she recognized that the only way in (without having to work her way through several traps and devices) was the side window. She'd seen the Orc's going in and coming out through the same one every time there was movement to or fro. Her timing probably could have been better, but, how was she to know that a different group of explorers (thieves, adventurers, other Orcs?) would be kicking down the front door at the same time? Bad timing all around.

Of course, it's possible that she should have waited more than a few hours before trying that same route again. It's also possible that Ferro Sphene is not the most patient of her race.

At least she wasn't that poor Elven girl. The one bloody, bruised and violated shortly before death (and perhaps after death as well). Even the shadows Ferro decided to escape through were better than staying in that room full of stench.

And now, running. With her everything always seemed to end with turning in the opposite direction and running the hell away.

To see her,

She appears to be covered from head to toe (as far as you can tell while she's dressed) in elaborate black ink tattoos and wielding what looks like several pieces of sharp metal coiled into a disc (and that's just the weapon you can see; her other weapon, a violent and twisted dagger wrapped in what appears to be rotting bandages, is kept in a holster at the center curve of her back).

Her skin looks thin, almost a gray hue instead of what you'd expect on a normal human. It looks like she's been locked away and kept out of the sun since childhood, or maybe she just grew up in a dark place. You're have to ask. Her hair, waist length and black, looks to be a sticky mess of dreadlocks piled high in a ponytail and locked into place with a thin strap of frayed leather (it's the only thing she's wearing that is a colour other than black -- it is instead a deep red, and were you to gain her trust and inquire about it then there would probably be a story).

The clothes she wears are dark and leave little to the imagination, the top section is wrapped tightly around her chest and midriff leaving her shoulders bare, and her pants are leather tinted black traveling to her ankles (but you wouldn't know that, as her boots rise up to almost her knees -- strapped on tightly with buckles and laces). There are no loose or hanging pieces, you think that she'd be good at getting in and out of places without being seen or caught on anything. Strapped across her waist is a black bag, it looks like two pieces of fabric -- thin and folded over -- and has several slots wide enough to fit a variety of tools used to (you would think) pick locks or perhaps pry a window open.

It's possible that you've never seen anyone quite like her.
